Radiocentre wins Media Week 2015 Silver Award for Audio Now

The Radiocentre team enjoyed a triumphant evening at the 2015 Media Week Awards ceremony last Thursday, with Audio Now winning the Silver Award in the Trade Body Research category. The ceremony was at Grosvenor House and particularly exciting this year as 2015 is Media Week’s 30th Birthday. Media Week recognises that the media world is constantly changing and expanding and the judges rewarded innovation, creativity, outstanding insight and real business impact. Audio Now was Radiocentre’s 2014 research study. It found that audio consumption in the UK is growing across all platforms, creating more opportunities for advertising than ever before. The research used an innovative multi-faceted approach to help uncover completely new insights that could not have been identified through more traditional approaches. Mark Barber, Planning Director at Radiocentre says: “In an increasingly competitive environment, it’s fantastic that Audio Now was acknowledged as stand-out work by the Media Week judges. The research has helped raise the overall profile of audio advertising and encouraged greater spend in the sector so we’re delighted that it has won the Media Week seal of approval.”   For more information contact Francesca Lewis on: Tel: 07976 968 936 E-mail: francesca.lewis@radiocentre.org   Radiocentre’s Audio Now microsite can be found at: https://radiocentre.org/audionow/ For more information on the Media Week Awards, visit: www.mediaweekawards.co.uk
