First speakers announced for Tuning In North

The first speakers have been announced for Radiocentre’s Tuning In North, and they include Hits Radio’s recently launched breakfast show team singer Fleur East and broadcasters Greg Burns and James Barr.

The event will be the industry body’s biggest conference outside London and will bring together radio stations, agencies and clients for a full morning looking at the world of audio. Attendees will hear about the latest trends and opportunities in the rapidly evolving world of radio, be provided with insight into the latest in creativity and binaural sound and learn how advertisers can capitalise on the audio revolution.

Clint Boon, Inspiral Carpets member and now Drivetime presenter at XS Manchester will be speaking about his new radio series that has been supported by the Audio Content Fund in its first round. Kicking off in September, The XS Manchester Music Tour will comprise 10 outside broadcasts, one from each Manchester borough, celebrating the musical heritage, legacy and upcoming talent from each area.

Taking place at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on Wednesday 25 September, Tuning In North will also feature Radiocentre’s CEO Siobhan Kenny, a deep dive into the latest research from Planning Director Mark Barber and Radioplayer’s Managing Director Michael Hill who will present on the future of radio in cars.
