Use of the phrase “for a limited period” is permissible where the offer is available for six months or less. If this claim is made by record companies/music publishers, the time period is three months or less. Ads should be withdrawn as soon as it becomes clear that stock has been exhausted.

Use of the phrase “limited edition” and similar must be backed by evidence and confirmed as being accurate at the time of broadcast. Unless there is a meaningful limit on numbers, “special edition” or similar should be used.
