Intrusive Sound Effects

If potentially distracting sound effects are used which could be a safety hazard to those listening whilst driving, (e.g. screeching tyres, car horns, revving engines, sirens, smashing glass, vehicle crashes, alarm bells, mobile phone rings, screams and gun shots), they must be brief, muted, under accompanying voiceover(s) and quickly made relevant to the advertisement scenario. In general, advertisements should not start with these types of sound effects on their own.
