Radiocentre and Tom Roach to discuss performance at Media 360
Audio’s underestimated role in performance marketing is on the agenda at Campaign’s flagship Media 360 event next week. The two-day conference, bringing together senior leaders from brand marketing, media agencies and media owners for open discussion and strategic thinking, takes place at Brighton’s Hilton Metropole on 19th and 20th May.
As brands push harder on performance marketing, many are hitting a ceiling with rising costs and flattening returns. Brand strategist and marketing effectiveness expert Tom Roach, VP of Brand Strategy at Jellyfish, calls this the “performance plateau”, the point at which growth stalls when brands focus too heavily on capturing existing demand and underinvest in creating it.
In the session ‘Why Growth Stalls – and How to Restart It’ Tom will explore what’s going wrong and what it takes to unlock growth again. Radiocentre’s Head of Insight Donna Burns will also draw on the recent Performance Multiplier study to show how audio can help brands punch through the performance plateau.
Radiocentre’s Client Director Lucy Barrett, says:
“We’re delighted to be joined by Tom for this session. He’s one of the sharpest thinkers in marketing effectiveness and perfectly placed to help unpack why the race for efficiency could be optimising the growth out of brands, and what marketers can do to overcome the challenge.”
