And right on cue, like the first brave spring bulbs pushing through the frost, along come the ads promising miracle transformations. Enter Holland & Barrett’s “Wonder Shake.” It grabs your attention because it sounds so utterly absurd. This magic shake will give you a new face, a new body, and apparently even a better personality. Worried your friends won’t approve of your new-and-improved self? Don’t be. Wonder Shake will change them too.

What is this nonsense? Yes, TikTok is full of this kind of mendacious madness, but surely not on trusted and regulated radio… right?
