Radiodays Europe – the Radiocentre podcast on the road

Earlier this week (21 March) Radiocentre attended Radiodays Europe in Amsterdam, where over 1,500 radio professionals from across Europe attended the packed out RAI conference centre.

 

The line-up featured some of radio’s biggest names, including Christian O’Connell, Scott Mills, Tony Blackburn and head of BBC radio and music Bob Shennan. The event also featured speakers from other sectors of the audio world, including Spotify, Mixcloud and the music industry.

 

Host of Absolute Radio’s award winning breakfast show, Christian O’Connell said “it was nice to meet people from all over Europe who do a similar job to you and share ideas”, meanwhile BBC Radio head Bob Shennan said the whole industry needs to “work together to meet the big challenges, as we’re all in the radio game”.

 

Radiocentre’s Planning Director Mark Barber presented our latest research study ‘The brand Multiplier’ to a packed crowd of European professionals. He shared the findings that radio plays an important and distinct role in enhancing the brand level effects of advertising.
