Double nomination for Radiocentre at the ARIAS

The shortlist for Team and Individual of the Year at this year’s ARIA Awards have been announced, and Radiocentre have been nominated in both categories. The whole team has been put forward for Team of the Year, while Chief Executive Siobhan Kenny is up for Individual of the Year, making them the only team with two nominations.

In a year that has seen commercial radio announce both record revenues and record listening figures, the nominations acknowledge the work that Radiocentre and Kenny do to keep the industry booming and successful, working with advertisers, agencies, government and other stakeholders.

This will be the second annual ARIAS, run by the Radio Academy, which recognise talent across the radio industry. The shortlists for Team and Individual of the Year are curated and approved by the Radio Academy’s board of Trustees, and the winners voted on by the Academy’s members.

Speaking about the double nomination, Siobhan Kenny said: “I am immensely proud of my entire team at Radiocentre, and it is great to have our hard work acknowledged by the Radio Academy and wider industry.  I am personally honoured to be nominated in such great company.  We are all looking forward to the big night in October in Leeds.”
