RDE Podcast Day speakers announced

Radiodays Europe (RDE) are introducing a one day conference Podcast Day, a brand new event focused entirely on the fast-moving world of Podcasting. With a line-up of international speakers, RDE’s Podcast Day will offer sessions on content creation, platforms, strategies, benefits and monetization along with business models, audiences and measurement.

Here are the first announced speakers:

Brendan McDonald, Producer of the successful ‘WTF Podcast’, that once started small but is now famous for its celebrity guests, including President Obama
Cajsa Lindberg, Controller of SR P3, Swedish Radio, who have created many successful podcast series, especially for youth audiences
Leslie Merklinger, Senior Director of Audio Innovation at CBC, Canada
Erik Diehn, CEO of Midroll one of the leading American podcast companies, creating and promoting podcasts and matching them with advertisers
Helen Zaltzman, UK Broadcaster and Producer of the multi-award winning podcast Answer me This!
Nicholas Quah, founder of Hot Pod, a specialized weekly newsletter about podcasts that is syndicated on Nieman Lab, USA
Rune Born Schwarz, Chief Digital Officer for Bauer Media, Denmark, taking podcast to the mainstream audience and media buyers

The Podcast Day will be a mix of presentations and panel discussions from 9.00 until 16.30 on Thursday 15th of June, at Copenhagen’s Royal Library.
