Murs cut the ribbon to The Bay’s new studio complex on St George’s Quay following its refurbishment after the damage caused by Storm Desmond last year.

Greeted by hundreds of fans from across the area at the Lancaster station, Murs unveiled a plaque at the new studios before chatting to Darren Milby, The Bay’s drive time presenter.

The former X-Factor finalist signed autographs, spoke to guests and performed his new single, You Don’t Know Love.

Murs’s glamorous relaunch of The Bay proved the icing on the cake for the station. The team received special recognition for their amazing efforts when they attended a ‘Flood Heroes Reception’ at 10 Downing Street back in March.
