Marketing radio to advertisers & agencies - The RAB (a brand within RadioCentre) promotes radio as an effective medium for advertising and works closely with national advertisers and their agencies on behalf of member stations.

Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards - organised by RadioCentre to recognise excellence within commercial radio. Only RadioCentre members are eligible for entry.

Free business support - a Business Support Helpline operated by Croner Consulting, a respected consultancy in the broadcasting field, is available to all members to advice on business and legal issues.

Reduced MCPS fees – RadioCentre benefits from a discount on MCPS fees and can offer member stations a reduced fee over the standard rate. It is virtually impossible to run a station without a MCPS licence, which enables stations to store and copy music.

RACC fees – RACC provide advertising clearance. Each station has to pay for advertising clearance as a requirement of their broadcasting licence. This fee is included in the annual RadioCentre subscription.

Involvement in network initiatives - RadioCentre co-ordinates various industry network initiatives such as UK Radio Aid, DEC appeals and Brits ticket giveaways. Only RadioCentre members are invited to participate.

Radio Industry Pension Scheme - The commercial radio industry has its own pension scheme, administered by independent firm of actuaries.

Member offers - RadioCentre secures discounts on various products, services and conferences for its members. Recent offers include tickets to the Learning & Development in Broadcasting Conference and free access to the I Like Music Desktop Music Library.
For Associate Members:
Associate Membership is open to radio industry service companies and related businsses of all kinds. These members do no receive the full range of benefits but do have preferential access to certain RadioCentre services:

Involvement in RadioCentre work - Associate Members are invited to provide input on appropriate issues addressed by RadioCentre. They are also invited to serve on committees, sub-committees and working groups.

Opportunity to promote your business & services - Through stands and sponsorship at our events, sponsorship of awards, literature in delegate packs and advertising in event brochures.
Associate Members are listed on our website with information and contact details and can advertise on our website.
RadioCentre also sends out newsletters and notes to members which can include branding, web banners or any important information Associate Members want us to circulate on their behalf.
We can also send out bespoke emails to our members on request.

Advice from RadioCentre executives - Associate Members can consult RadioCentre executives for advice on relevant industry issues in the same way as Full Members.
