Interim Insight Manager at Radiocentre

Here’s the offer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team working in commercial radio. Radiocentre is the industry body representing the UK’s foremost radio brands, from the biggest – Capital, Magic, Kiss, Classic FM – to smaller, independent local groups and specialist stations. As Insight Manager you will be part of the Advertising team, overseeing and disseminating the company’s research programmes.

What we need from you

If it requires insight, then the likelihood is you will be responsible for it. So this is a role for a curious, outgoing, and intelligent researcher with a minimum of 5 years media-research based experience and a good understanding of advertising effectiveness research projects.

There is a lot of variety in the role, taking ownership of Radiocentre’s award-winning strategic research and long-term radio effectiveness programme radioGAUGE, presenting regularly to customers, reporting industry revenues, and liaising with the commercial radio groups.

You will need to be a team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to create and present a clear and engaging research story, as part of a bigger picture. A radio lover and listener with good all-round understanding of the broader advertising and media world is a must.

What you will do

Starting at the beginning of January with an initial 6 month contract as maternity cover, you will have one direct report and responsibility for delivering Radiocentre’s research and insight function. You will gain first-hand experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders and Radiocentre customers as well as briefing research suppliers.
