BeGambleAware wins latest Aerials Award

The winner of the latest Aerial Award is 18 Feet & Rising with their ‘Nuisance’ spot for BeGambleAware. The ad was picked by this month’s judge Yan Elliott, Executive Creative Director at The & Partnership London. Congratulations to the winning team behind the ad, creative Toby Roberts and creative team Daisy Bard and Orla O’Connor.

Here’s what Yan had to say about the winning campaign: “It had a good ending; a dark twist that created impact. That’s important because, in this type of script, you want to leave the listener with something to remember. This ending had menace and was a tad haunting, which will keep you thinking about it for a while.” Read Yan’s full comments.

Radiocentre’s Head of Creative Development Clare Bowen said: “Public information messaging is often amongst the most effective in our Radiogauge tests . Radio is a very intimate medium and listeners have a close relationship with their preferred stations. This is something creatives can use to their advantage, creating an uncomfortable closeness that makes your ad hard to ignore. This spot for Be Gamble Aware dramatises the ‘voice in your head’ very powerfully”.
