Stuart Taylor is CEO of GMG Radio and sits on the board of parent group, Guardian Media Group Plc. Stuart led the transformation last year of Smooth Radio into a national station whilst Real Radio continues to lead in Scotland, Wales and across the north of England. He sits on the boards of Radio Player, Radio Centre and DRUK. Previously he was Commercial Director of Guardian News and Media.

Stuart joined the radio division of Guardian Media Group Plc. after a long and distinguished career at sister company Guardian News and Media, where he was Commercial Director and also General Manager of the Guardian. Having being responsible for all commercial activity at GNM, Stuart played a major role in developing online revenue streams for Guardian Sales and the transformation of both Newspapers into the innovative Berliner format.
